Anne V. Martt

Vice President and Constellation Program Manager

Anne Martt is Vice President and Constellation Program Manager for United Space Alliance, LLC, responsible for overseeing the planning, management and execution of all USA work in support of the Constellation Program, including work on the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle and the Ares 1 Crew Launch Vehicle. Reporting to the President and CEO, Martt serves as USA’s senior liaison to the NASA Constellation Program Office headquartered at the Johnson Space Center as well as Constellation Program elements that reside at other centers and NASA Headquarters.

Prior to her appointment as Constellation Program Manager in March 2006, Martt served as USA’s Director of Space Operations Development and was responsible for supporting business development pursuits and for overseeing newly acquired business projects associated with exploration and space operations.

Martt previously served as Deputy Program Manager, Space Shuttle Upgrades Development, the organization responsible for the identification and implementation of hardware and software upgrades to meet Space Shuttle Program safety and supportability objectives. She was also the Project Manager for the Cockpit Avionics Upgrade, a major hardware and software upgrade to improve flight safety through increased crew situational awareness and reduced cockpit workload.

From March 1999 until January 2001, Martt served as Deputy Associate Program Manager for USA’s Orbiter Element, which has responsibility for the Space Shuttle Orbiters and all associated hardware modification and maintenance. Prior to that, Martt held the position of Associate Program Manager, Flight Software Element.

Before joining USA from Lockheed Martin in October 1996, Martt attained more than 18 years of experience in technical and management positions within the Space Shuttle Primary Flight Software project.

Throughout her career, Martt has been active in a variety of community service projects, including Girl Scouts, Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.

Martt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Texas, Austin.
