USA translates product concepts into preliminary and detailed engineering design plans and specifications. USA determines levels of risk and develops mitigation plans, performs configuration management and component integrations and incorporates them into the development of prototypes and system models. USA also demonstrates and validates models and prototypes by following a rigorous test and evaluation process to ensure all performance criteria are met within the specified operating parameters.
