Innovation

Developing and implementing new products and services that enhance operations for our customers is a major goal at United Space Alliance.

Our strength is our ability to adapt existing technologies in innovative ways for current space operations needs as well as future applications. Our experience with the Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs enables us to maximize consistency, efficiency, continuity and value through an integrated operations approach.

Orbiter-in-a-Box® and Cargo PC® are innovations that have made spaceflight more accessible to commercial customers. The Shuttle's "Glass Cockpit" reduces the pilots' workload during critical periods.

Our teams are already developing technological concepts and prototypes for integrated operations on the Moon, Mars and beyond.

"Questus™," represents the first-ever set of integrated applications and tools specifically created for space operations by USA. It includes Attentus™, Ascensio™ and Temporis™. In addition to these software tools, USA has created Aptus, the first in a new class of deployable structures.

To maximize value and efficiency, USA has implemented Lean Six Sigma company-wide. It has been applied to our internal business systems, as well as to the services that we provide our customers.
