UPDATE (September 16, 2009) Bay Area Habitat needs a little help. They have funding for two houses that must be finished before Christmas. Our first day was a rain out so the plan is to start framing the walls Thursday (9/17) and continue framing on Saturday. They will be working every Thursday and Saturday so please consider helping out. The address is 3006 Virginia Ave. in Dickinson. The local Habitat chapters work every Saturday and can always use a hand. If you have questions, contact Jerry Pfleeger, Tom Murray or Scott Anderson.br>br>

DIRECTIONS TO HUSSER VILLAGE: Take FM528 West toward Alvin. Turn left on Hwy 35 (by Ron Carter Autoland) and take 35 around to the South until you reach Mustang Rd. Turn left on Mustang and proceed past Alvin Community College for about 2 miles. When you see Lil Tuck's car wash, Husser Village will be across the street on your left. Turn in on Ben Lane and proceed to the house under construction. Try to arrive by 7:45 for the pre-work briefing.
