“Change is often the key to survival and success in any business, and I cannot begin to tell you how heartened I am at the willingness and professionalism with which essential change has been embraced by all of you and the leadership team.

“The results are indisputable. We are performing extremely well on our current contracts; we are winning new contracts, and we are positioned to compete well for more.”

Since its inception in April 1997, USA’s Quest for Excellence (QFE) awards program has recognized more than 6,000 USA employees in Alabama, Florida and Texas.

Nominees for the SARA awards are selected from each site’s monthly QFE winners chosen by the Site Awards Boards in Texas and Florida. The QFE program reinforces the core beliefs and values of USA by promoting recognition available to all USA employees, honoring the spirit of innovation and manifesting the company’s vision, mission, and goals and guiding principles.

The Employees of the Year are selected from SARA recipients by the Executive Awards Board. This award recognizes top achievements that significantly contributed to the success of the space program.
